Kubb is a classic Scandinavian throwing game that's perfect for outdoor gatherings. Play it at backyard picnics or take it to the beach!

The whole set fits into this compact carrying case (approximate dimensions: 13"L x 8"W x 16"H). The mallet—for driving in boundary markers...or pretending to be Thor (ask my sons)—doubles as the handle. A handy bottle opener is included on one face of the mallet head.

The kubbs, king, and mallet head are made from poplar dunnage reclaimed from a steel mill in south central Pennsylvania. The batons are poplar. Since parts of this set are made from reclaimed wood, the pieces may have some nail holes, checks, and blemishes from the wood's former life. These do not affect the parts' durability or playability.

Sets are finished with a hand-applied coating of Danish oil--a penetrating oil that won't chip or flake when the pieces are knocked around game after game. The poplar case is finished with a light coat of polyurethane.

Kubbs, king, and batons are made to tournament specifications. Laminated instructions included.
